Bakery Story Guide

Basic Bakery Story Guide.

There is no need for going step by step because everyone plays it differently.
This is just information to have a good bakery.

Ok, lets get started.

The whole purpose of bakery story is (my guess) to have fun (of course). Make your own unique bakery customised to suit you and your taste. Decorate it the way you like.
However, when you just start the game it's best not to start decorating right away. Save it until you level up and have lots of money. The best thing to do when you first start the game is to level up without going bankrupt. You should make brownies and lots of them. Remember that you are only awarded 4 to 8 of the exp points when you start cooking a dish, the remaining points come when you finish preparing the dish, so don't let the dish spoil, otherwise you'd be wasting the exp points. Your dish will spoil if you do not serve it on time, the amount of time until it spoils equals to how long it took to cook it. For example,
chocolate cake takes 1hr to cook so it will not spoil until a hour later. However I think that they add just a few mins over when it's supposed to be spoiled. So be careful!
Helpful tips:

• Try your best to keep your hearts at 100. It may seem stupid but the higher your rating is the more customers you get. Then the faster you get your profit. 
• If you put something in front of the door, it will prevent customers from coming in, so you can stock up your food. 
• Only put one chair at a table. Two people can't sit at a table. Unless you actually want to style it that way but make sure that you have room for other tables and chairs. 
• Try your best not to block the customers way to a chair. The only ways they can sit is the side or the back of the chair. If you have three chairs in a row and the middle chairis back to back with another chair. They can't get to that middle chair because it's sides are blocked by other chairs next to it and the back is covered by that chair that is back to back with it. 
• Don't block your cash register. Otherwise, they will leave broken hearted without eating. 
• You can NOT skip expansions! I learned that the hard way, a waste of time...  :-(
• A safe amount of tables with chairs is 26. But at the very beginning, I don't think you can fit 26 table with chair in there but that's okay. 
• At first when you're asked to name your bakery make sure it's good because it will cost 10 gems to change it. 

When you get to a good level(your choice) you can then start focusing more on making money. Overall, in the oven the dish that makes the most profit is sweet potato pie and the dish that makes the most xp is blueberry buckle. However these are higher level dishes. Good ones would have to be chocolate cherry triffle, red velvet cookies, red velvet cake, mocha, and Grey earl tea.

When you begin playing Bakery Story, you will have two appliances: an Oven and a Drink Mixer, but there are many other appliances for you to purchase, each with their own unique recipes.As you progress through the game, you will be able to purchase additional appliances, generally one every five/four levels, with your final, eighteenth appliance slot opening at level 73. You can also open additional appliance slots at any time by paying 49 gems. Some appliances can be purchased in various colors or need to be constructed before you can use them.
Special appliances :

• Easy -The Easy oven does not require you to tap the screen to prepare the recipe and by that adds a little more xp. 
• Sonic - Cook the recipe 20% faster than other appliances. Cost 42 gems each. 
• Forever - Whatever is cooked on this will never spoil. Cost 42 gems each. 

The ultimate recipe chart with profit

For the bakery story versions it always bring something new. Like food, decorations, etc. Teamlava usually always make a new version for a special day like holidays, mother's day, world games, etc. They also make versions for the other stories and most likely they will ask you to download that game and you get 6 gems. Then if it's the first time it asked you to download that game it will ask you to reach a certain level in that game the you will get 3 gems. They will ask to reach three certain levels then you're done but if later they have another version of that game they will not ask you to reach a certain being because you already have. Beware, if teamlava was not asking to download a version and reach a level; if you play that game already and pasted the levels without them telling to do so then when they make a new version of that story and they ask you to download it. (it being the first version they asked of that story) they will NOT reward you those gems!
Good things to know:

If you go to menu in the corner of your screen. Go to messages, at the very end it says badges; it is a way to earn free gems. Its kinda like your own goals. Whenever new goals appear, it only stays for a month or two but its rewards will stick around longer like the locked ones. I was too late to unlock the food items at the end of the cookbook and those appliances like rose oven. I started playing the game in march or april.

Another way to get a few free gems is when you continue to cook one dish you get better at it by getting promoted. The first time, you get 4,000 coins; the second time you get 1 gem; third time you get 8,000 coins and the last time you get 1 gem.

Some appliances need to be constructed first. You will a screen like this. Make sure you put in a pace where you can reach it; some people put it blocked with stuff around it and then its hard to get it to open

You can request from friends or you can  buy it for 2 gems for each part.
